Greetings! It is a great pleasure for The Boston Conservatory Harp Department to welcome all of our guests to the first edition of the Boston Harp Festival. The weekend long event celebrates the harp and harpists in the Boston and New England Area while featuring the harp's wonderful potential as a solo instrument.

As per our eim, countless hours have been invested to create a program that is diverse and filed with informative concerts, presentations, panel discussions, master classes and private lessons. This variety of offerings, featuring a great number of distinguished artists, provides a real opportunity to expand our knowledge and appreciation of the harp.

We are truly indebted to each performer, presenter, contributor and volunteer for graciously donating their time, knowledge, resources, talent, expertise and excellent performances. Furthermore, we are deeply grateful to our main sponsors, The Boston Conservatory and The Harp Connection, for their outstanding support in offering the use of their facilities and harps, respectively. This event would not have been possible if not for the remarkable and inspiring generosity of each and every one of you and we have to personally thank you every single individual that contirbuted to making this event a reality.

Finally, The Boston Conservatory is conveniently located in the heart of Boston's Back Bay, just a short walk away or subway ride away from some of the city's main attractions and historical sights. We invite you to explore some of these beautiful places and enjoy the city while you're here!
