History

The Boston Harp Festival was founded in 2010 by concert harpist Ina Zdorovetchi in collaboration with The Boston Conservatory Harp Department to celebrate the harp’s wonderful potential as a solo instrument and its significance in the history of music.

Geared to attract musicians and harp enthusiasts of all types – from beginners to professionals, performers, teachers, students, harp-builders, arrangers, composers and vendors – the festival is a two-day event filled with exhibitions, panel discussions, master classes and private lessons and features performances and presentations by internationally acclaimed harpists.
